Inviting all elementary aged kids AND new this year...Preschoolers too! Join St. Mark Kids Coordinator Natalie Thomas for a week of theatre fun! Kids will learn the basics of live theatre: theatre games, activities, and then perform for their families at the end of the week.
There are two sessions offered this summer. July 13-17 will be for our elementary school "readers" because they will be given scripts to memorize.
August 10-14 is for our "pre-readers" (preschool/entering kindergarten).
About Natalie Thomas's Theatre Experience:
Natalie graduated from Drake University with a degree in musical theatre and spent the next few years performing in various shows. Family brought her back to Des Moines where she now primarily choreographs and occasionally directs for local theatres including the Des Moines Playhouse, Tallgrass Theatre, Simpson College, middle and high school theatre programs, (including our own here at St. Mark!), and her family's theatre camp for elementary and middle schoolers. She's excited to create and tell stories with our St. Mark Kids!
